Restricted Donations The Springfield Education Foundation financially supports new and innovative programs, the arts, enhanced instructional technology, as well as an array of enrichment opportunities. Restricted contributions enable donors to apply their donations to the programs that are most important to them.

The Gift of Literacy The Gift of Literacy is a six-month program that encourages a love of reading among young children. Through rich community partnerships, every first-grader in Springfield Public Schools receives a special gift—a new hardbound book, book bag, and educational goodies—at a special literacy celebration at the end of each school year.

Unrestricted Donations The Springfield Education Foundation financially supports new and innovative programs, the arts, enhanced instructional technology, as well as an array of enrichment opportunities. Unrestricted contributions to the Education Foundation enable us to apply funds where they are needed.
